Bodegas Valle de Monzón, was founded in 1993 with the challenge of achieving high quality wines within the Denomination of Origin “Ribera del Duero”.

But the wine tradition comes from an ancient family, who dedicated their efforts to the vineyards cultivation and to elaborate wines like “Hoyo de la Vega” and “Gromejón”.

The last link in this family is Mr. Julian Calvo Casas, wine broker until 1972.
