Our wines are elaborated 100% from the variety tempranillo (tinta del país) coming from our vineyards located in Quintana del Pidio. The average age is among 60 y.o., and that makes all our wines to have an extraordinary quality.

Yet in the grape’s reception, we choose those which we consider are in the best conditions and have the best quality. Both process, maceration and fermentation are always done separated, this last step using stainless steel vats equipped with temperature control.

botellaAfter clarification, wines are ready to stay into American oak barrels. The young wine (tinto cosecha) is the first to leave the barrels, after 3 months. 12 months stays our crianza, which has to be added 12 more months in bottle, aged at a suitable humidity and temperature conditions before its taken to the market.

For the Reserva wines, we use a combination of American oak for 12 months, and at least 3 more months in French oak barrels. Just after, that wine will repose another 24 months in bottle developing and unique aroma.
